I had a great time studying at HSUHK. We have the best professors in our program; they are all experienced and professional. They take care of students’ needs in every aspect and provide prompt feedback so we can improve ourselves further.
This program has provided a variety of workshops, seminars, day tours, and visits related to our course to enhance our studies outside the classroom. These activities not only deepen my understanding of the subject matter but also open my mind to learning and thinking outside the box. The syllabus in this program is not only theoretical but also practical. For this reason, I am well-prepared to teach right after graduation.
I sincerely appreciate all the professors for your patience and professional guidance during this unforgettable journey!

I graduated from the Master of Arts in English Language Teaching and Assessment (MA-ELTA) programme at HSUHK, which was a truly memorable and valuable experience. The programme’s rigorous curriculum, combined with its professional faculty, equipped me with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required for effective language teaching. Exchanges with diverse peers enriched my learning and broadened my perspective on global educational practices.
The advanced teaching concepts and assessment strategies have prepared me for the challenges of modern language education. I’m very grateful to the programme for providing me with the opportunity to effectively apply what I’ve learnt in my future work. HSUHK has not only shaped my career but has also inspired me to make a positive impact in the field of education.

During the MA-ELTA programme, I had the privilege of participating in an international academic conference co-hosted by the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong and Tung Wah College. As a student representative, I not only chaired several conference sessions but also presented my own academic paper. I deeply appreciate the diverse academic platforms the university provides, such as this academic conference, to showcase and share my research. I am extremely grateful to the Hang Seng University for offering me this international stage. Presenting my work at such a conference not only enhanced my academic skills but also allowed me to benefit greatly from the global academic environment. It remains one of the most remarkable memories of my university life.
Throughout my studies, I have come to deeply appreciate the unique structure of the MA-ELTA programme. The curriculum not only provides a solid theoretical foundation but also offers valuable hands-on experience through group microteaching sessions. In these sessions, we are divided into small groups to collaboratively simulate real-life teaching scenarios, which allows us to integrate theoretical knowledge with practice.
I particularly value this approach because it made me realise that teaching is not just about mastering content but also about adapting to dynamic classroom environments. The professors play a crucial role in this process by guiding us through the theoretical aspects while offering constructive feedback during the microteaching sessions, helping us identify areas for improvement and grow as future educators.
