Programme Director of MA-ELTA, Dr. Gavin Bui, was invited by Springer Nature to guest edit a special issue “Task-Based Language Teaching as Inclusive and Creative Pedagogy” for the journal Discover Education. This international, open-access publication presents a remarkable opportunity for our MA-ELTA community to contribute to cutting-edge scholarship. This special issue builds on TBLT’s strong cognitive foundations to explore new frontiers in educational equity and creativity. It calls for research that adapts tasks for diverse learners, including those with SEN and underprivileged backgrounds, while also investigating the dual creativity of teachers and students in the classroom. For our MA-ELTA students and alumni, this is a chance to see their work published in a Scopus-indexed journal, contributing to a global dialogue on innovative, inclusive language teaching. We encourage MA-ELTA teachers, students, and all other interested scholars to submit their research and showcase the impactful work emerging from our programme. The submission deadline is 31 May 2027.
